Hyaluronic Acid (L-Sodium Hyaluronate)

Hyaluronic acid plays a very important role in supporting and promoting collagen and retains more than a hundred times its weight in water resulting in plumper, more hydrated skin. Hyaluronic acid retains water in the skin, keeping the collagen moist and elastic.

Ferulic Acid

A potent antioxidant derived from apples that repairs and protects the skin due its photo-protective properties. When Vitamin E and Ferulic Acid are combined as they are in Awakened, the combo absorb UV radiation making it a powerful skin protecting duo. Blended synergistically with other antioxidants, ferulic acid renders vitamin C and vitamin E more powerful then when used alone. Phloretin

A potent antioxidant that protects the breakdown of our elasticity. Phloretin is a botanical that is found in cell walls of grains, fruits and vegetables. It inhibits the MMP enzyme, that breaks down collagen and elastin, keeping the skin youthful. It is also anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, and anti-inflammatory.

Our Unique Chinese Herbal Blend

We have created a unique chinese herbal blend that provides anti-inflammoatory, and antioxidant benefits to the skin as well as boosts the immune function of the skin. This blend is made up of astragalus, chai hu, liquorice, ginseng, and a ginger.
