Whether you are experiencing physical (lack of sleep, headaches, forgetting to wash off makeup, poor eating habits, lack of water, etc) or emotional stress (workload, bullying, family, depression, etc) you may see this come up on your skin in the form of acne, even if you have never had a pimple in your life!
When you are stressing hard, it causes your cortisol levels to rise, which in turn increases testosterone (causing more sebum production) When your hormones are not balanced this is when inflammation begins to show up as acne on the skin. This is a wicked downward spiral since naturally, when we see a breakout that is unstoppable, we will stress even more to rid ourselves of it, thus the circle begins. So if you feel yourself stressing out, give yourself a time out, reel it back, and get yourself on track
